UNO Eliminates Application Fee, Removing a Financial Barrier for Future Students
August 15, 2023In a move to expand access to an affordable education, the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) is eliminating entirely the application fee required for undergraduate admission consideration, enabling more future Mavericks to apply fee free for admission to the university.
UNO Researchers Study Labor Trafficking in Nebraska
August 14, 2023A new effort led by researchers at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) seeks to provide an overview of labor trafficking in Nebraska and provide actionable items on how the state can improve identification and responses. The two-year project began in July and is funded by a roughly $500k grant from the Howard G. Buffett Foundation.
