Coffee Talk with Spirit and Tradition invited students to share one-on-one conversations with Chancellor Li while enjoying a morning cup at the Criss Library Starbucks.

A weeklong event schedule that gives students a break from studying, relieve stress or uses the events to manage their finals prep and exams. Events are geared around free food, late night ways to de-stress, and events that encourage overall wellness.
A monthly program designed to introduce students to a variety of Omaha metro experiences at no cost. These events highlight local arts, culture, music, entertainment, and sports, offering students new opportunities to explore the community.
A free meal is provided each month to encourage student socializing and connection. Each event features a different type of food, held either on-campus or off-campus, and offered during lunch, dinner, or late night.
A variety of spirit trips are organized to support UNO athletic teams on the road. Traditionally, one trip is planned each year for soccer, volleyball, basketball, and hockey. Trips are often arranged when teams qualify for the Summit League or NCAA tournaments.
The Maverick Maniacs and Bullpen serve as the official school spirit and student section of UNO. They bring energy, tradition, and excitement to game days, using cheers and enthusiasm to unite the campus community and support Maverick athletes, students, and fans.

UNO Dance Marathon is a student-led, year-round movement supporting Children’s Nebraska and the amazing work they do for kids in our community. Through events, initiatives, and campaigns, students raise funds and awareness for their local Miracle Kids.
