The Accessibility Services Center (ASC) collaborates with students, administrators, faculty, and staff to ensure access to reasonable and appropriate student disability accommodations. ASC strives to create a fully accessible, inclusive experience for student learning, campus engagement, and residential life.
Hours and Services
The ASC has multiple service modalities available to students, including office correspondence via email, fax, or telephone, as well as scheduled appointments via zoom, telephone, or in-person. The office is open 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Additionally, evening appointments may be available. Please contact ASC for more information.
Software Upgrade
Our office recently transitioned to a new client management system called Accessibility Information Management, or AIM. The ASC Online Services Portal is available to both students and faculty and requires UNO single sign-on with Duo authentication. Through AIM, students can register with ASC and send letters of accommodation to faculty, and a host of additional features will be rolling out later this fall. Students who are already registered with ASC should check their UNO student email frequently for transition updates and instructions as the process unfolds.
