Madeline St. Clair, manager of the Maverick Food Pantry, has been named the UNO Employee of the Month for October 2023. St. Clair was recognized by her colleagues for her tireless work to improve the food pantry and for caring deeply for the UNO community.
“Madeline is caring, kind, and personable. She is extremely knowledgeable about food insecurity and the ways in which college students need extra help,” one nominator said.
Another nominator noted that Madeline goes above and beyond expectations. “Others are constantly talking about the work she and her student volunteers put in, to better serve other students at UNO and in the community,” they said, “she makes sure students have access to the pantry at a variety of times, not just the typical 8-5 business hours.”
For being named Employee of the Month, St. Clair will receive a certificate, a hot/cold tumbler provided by the UNO Bookstore, a monetary award, two tickets to a UNO sporting event, and use of a designated parking space.
Congratulations, Madeline!
