Visiting Campus Makes a Difference

Jarod Cernousek

“I toured a lot of schools in and out of state, but kept coming back to UNO to visit. I found it was a beautiful campus with great people, and no matter what I ended up studying, I knew I’d be happy here.”

Amy Lopez Hernandez

“I sat in on a Spanish course at UNO where the professor encouraged us to participate, and I really liked it. UNO felt like home when I visited, and I knew I wanted to stay here.”

McKenzie Anderson

“I pictured myself walking to classes and getting involved just by going on my tour. It gave me that ‘home away from home’ feeling that other schools didn’t, and it was the best decision for me.”

Angela Lopera

“As an international student, I felt comfortable at UNO from the first day I visited. I loved the central location of campus and being right in the middle of Omaha.”
