Counseling and Psychological Services
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides services that can assist students with challenges that have impacted their overall wellbeing. These resources include short-term counseling, group counseling, emergency services, a student stress management support group, and more. A full list of these services including crisis contact information can be found on the CAPS website.
Please remember that students have access to a mental health professional afterhours, on weekends, and holidays by contacting 402.554.2409 and pressing #2.
Faculty Employee Assistance Program
Faculty Employee Assistance Program (FEAP) provides confidential counseling and referral services to benefit-eligible faculty and staff and their eligible dependents. The program also publishes articles with important updates and information.
Community Counseling Clinic
The Community Counseling Clinic is a space for anyone on or off campus to utilize counseling services. The clinic is staffed by graduate students from the College of Education’s Department of Counseling and supervised by licensed departmental faculty.
Department of Public Safety
UNO's Department of Public Safety is committed to providing students, staff, faculty and guests with prompt, courteous, and professional police services. If you or someone you know is in a dangerous, life-threatening situation, call 402.554.2911 to request police, fire or medical services.
Maverick Food Pantry
The Maverick Food Pantry offers healthy, organic and culturally-sensitive food and personal hygiene products to members of the campus community. Requests for food packages can be submitted through an easy online form twice a week.
