Campus Police
UNO Police and Public Safety Department ensures the safety and security of the campus community through law enforcement and emergency response services.
Safety Escorts
UNO Police and Public Safety Department provides safe, reliable escort services for staff traveling on campus during late hours or in potentially unsafe situations.
Lost & Found
Public Safety maintains the university's lost and found system. Items are kept for 30 days and then donated to charity or destroyed.
Report Incidents
UNO offers a confidential platform for staff to report incidents of misconduct, safety concerns, and other issues affecting the campus community.
Fire Safety
Fire Life Safety systems (alarm panels, sprinklers, smoke detectors) are located across the UNO campus, and all buildings are equipped with fire safety equipment.
Campus Recreation
Staff working for the University of Nebraska System and affiliates are eligible to purchase a membership to the Wellness Center.
Faculty and Staff Employee Assistance Program (FSEAP)
UNO has contracted with Best Care Employee Assistance Program to provide confidential counseling and referral services to all UNO staff and their eligible dependents.
