Nebraska Career Scholarships
Following approval by the Nebraska State Legislature in August 2020, funding was made available to UNO - and to support first-year students and transfer students interested in pursuing degree programs in the fields of health care, engineering, mathematics, and computer information systems.
Scholarship criteria and award amounts listed below are subject to change at any time. In addition to using set criteria to award scholarships to incoming applicants we also use a holistic approach.
The holistic approach to scholarship decisions looks at the entire student file. Examples of data that could be considered include coursework, rigor, and grades. These are not the only factors, as we look at multiple data points to understand the context of education of the students in the admitted pool. We will continue to provide assistance to keep UNO as one of the most affordable institutions in the region.
