Congratulations on your admission to the University of Nebraska at Omaha! Now that you have been admitted to UNO, reserving your space in the upcoming class is easy.

Enrollment Deposit

All admitted students will be required to pay the $100 Enrollment Deposit to reserve a space in the upcoming class. Paying the deposit allows the university to more effectively plan for class offerings and student resources in preparation for each semester.

When should I pay my enrollment deposit?

You will receive your admission acceptance packet in the mail.

Deadlines to pay your Enrollment Deposit

Fall and summer applicants
May 1

Spring applicants
December 1

Admitted after the deadline?
You can still submit your enrollment deposit within two weeks of admission in order to save your spot in the upcoming class.


Where do I pay the enrollment deposit?

Take the next steps to becoming a Maverick by logging into MavLINK. You will be directed to pay the deposit using Cashnet.

Alternatively, you can send a check to the following address:

Please include your name and NU ID with your check. Additional processing time will be required for all checks.

What if I am not able to pay the enrollment deposit?

Students may request a deferral of the $100.00 Enrollment Deposit by submitting a formal request by May 1 (fall/summer applicants) or December 1 (spring applicants). Consideration is determined by Estimated Family Contribution (FASFA) or need. Download the Enrollment Deposit Deferral request form


What if I change my mind about attending UNO? Is the deposit refundable?

The Enrollment Deposit is fully refundable prior to the deposit deadlines.

Fall and summer applicants
May 1

Spring applicants
December 1

If you choose not to enroll at UNO and do not request a refund on or before the deadline, you will forfeit the full amount of your Enrollment Deposit.
