In This Installment of Access the Experts
Assistant Vice Chancellor and Dean of Students Cathy Pettid answers the question: “How does one go about explaining psychological and anxiety disorders to older relatives who seem to think such disorders are all ‘mental?’”
Pettid’s professional career has spanned over two decades at UNO. During that time, she has served as a licensed mental health practitioner, director of Counseling Services, senior director for achievement, and most recently, assistant vice chancellor and dean of students.
