PathwayU

PathwayU allows students to take assessments regarding their interests, values, personality, and workplace preferences.

After a successful pilot program during the fall semester, the ACDC Career Services team has decided to move forward with the full implementation of PathwayU, a career assessment platform, starting in spring of 2023.

For those of you familiar with our previous career assessment platform, Focus 2 Career, we will be sunsetting Focus 2 at the end of December 2022. As of Dec. 31, 2022, Focus 2 Career will no longer be accessible to faculty, staff, and students. If you have data or assessments you need from Focus 2 Career, please plan to retrieve that information prior to the end of the semester. We will not be able to retain these assessments after our contract ends on Dec. 31.

About Pathway U

PathwayU is currently active and available to all UNO faculty, staff, and students.

PathwayU will be the sole career assessment platform used at UNO beginning Jan. 1, 2023. PathwayU allows students to take assessments regarding their interests, values, personality, and workplace preferences. These assessments are then used to make recommendations of careers the student might be interested in.

Watch a PathwayU Video Walkthrough.

Benefits and Useful Features:

  • User friendly interface and easy navigation
  • Career recommendations broken into subject areas
  • Degree program recommendations specific to UNO
  • “Counselor View” that is similar in look and feel to the student experience
  • Reflection questions for both students, and counselors to prompt career exploration discussions
