This spring and summer, while UNO was in remote teaching, learning, and working mode, a temporary pause was put in place on all UNO flag lowerings, which recognize members of the Maverick community who have recently passed away.
To ensure that these individals, as well and their friends and family, receive the same recognition and respect, the UNO flag will remain lowered from Wednesday, Sept. 23, through Friday, Sept. 25.
