The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, in memory of UNO retiree Carolyn Crawford.
Crawford passed away Friday, Aug. 11, and was 75 years old at the time of her death. Donations in her honor are being directed to the Heartland Community Flute Choir through the UNO School of Music.
While at UNO, Crawford worked as a staff secretary in Academic Support Services. She worked for UNO from Aug. 17, 1981, until her retirement on Dec. 31, 2004.
Crawford is survived by her husband Alfred "Rusty" Crawford, who is also a UNO retiree. Our thoughts and condolences are with Carolyn's loved ones during this difficult time.
