The Women and Gender Equity Center (WGEC) is looking for students to serve as program board members.
The WGEC is a student agency offering everyone the opportunity to explore and discover resources pertaining to women's lives and gender equity.
Duties include attending weekly WGEC meetings and volunteering four hours a month at the Big O! Gazebo. There will be weekly one-hour meetings during the school year - meeting time to be determined at a later date. The WGEC board will also meet sparsely during the summer, including one mandatory all day training session. During the school year you may be asked to represent the board by volunteering for various events such as the Clothesline Project, Take Back the Night, and tabling events. Additional role specific duties may arise as the year progresses.
