UNO Food Services is excited to announce Luigi Di Ruocco as the new Catering Manager. Luigi’s first day was November 6.
Di Ruocco comes to UNO with a degree in Hotel Management from the Instituto Professionale Alberghiero Di Stato, Italy and has many years of experience in the catering industry. He may be a familiar face to many on campus as he served as the Director of Operations for Brandeis Catering, which previously operated at the Thompson Alumni Center as well as at other venues.
Additionally, Di Ruocco has experience managing catering and food services for a wide variety of events from small group meetings to large events to weddings with over 400 guests. He also has experience managing the dining and catering programs at Mutual of Omaha, ConAgra and the Omaha Country Club.
The position was previously held by Branden Williams, who has since accepted the position of UNO Food Services Manager as of May 2017.
