The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, in memory of UNO student Chase Kruse.
Kruse passed away on Saturday, Sept. 9, and was 22 at the time of his death. He is survived by parents, Jan and David; sister and brother-in-law Amanda and Jim De Freece; nephew Hunter De Freece; uncles and aunts Todd and Jan Kruse, Brian and Aime Rikke, James and Donna Seitz, Duance and Joyce Wilkinson, and Deb Harder.
Funeral services were held for Chase on Thursday, Sept. 14, at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Omaha. He is interred at Mt. Pleasent Cemetary near Burchard, Nebraska.
