Graduate students in the UNO School Psychology and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) programs are hosting a summer reading program called “Camp UNO” for students at Holy Name Elementary this week and next.
This is the tenth year that Lisa Kelly-Vance and her students have sponsored the program, and the first year that SLP students have participated.
Each day of the program has a special theme (e.g., animals, sports, Dr. Seuss) and the graduate students provide fun activities to enhance reading and early literacy skills.
All attendees receive a t-shirt, books, and school supplies.
