The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered Wednesday, February 15, 2017, in memory of UNO employee Moshe Gershovich.
Moshe passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017, and was 57 years old at the time of his death. Moshe’s memorial will be held at the Thompson Alumni Center on Friday, February 24. Services will be from 11 A.M. to 12 P.M., followed by a buffet luncheon.
While at UNO, Moshe was a professor in the Department of History. He began working at UNO January 1, 2001. Our thoughts and condolences are with Moshe’s loved ones during this difficult time. He is survived by his wife Elisabeth.
