Amy Skolaski, Advising Assistant in the Arts and Sciences Advising Center, was recently named April Employee of the Month.
The Prize Patrol surprised Amy with the award on Wednesday, April 11.
Amy's peers nominated her for her dedication and drive to assist anyone who walks into the Arts and Sciences Advising Center.
They said, “Amy is the definition of ‘above and beyond’. She is always seeking more ways to assist us advisors in day-to-day activities and special projects. When I need help with something, I know that I can ALWAYS count on Amy.”
They continued,”I have seen Amy assist the public, parents, and students who are angry, sad or upset. She also helps co-workers who might need a friendly ear. She helps make our office a warm place to come and students will seek her out.”
As Employee of the Month, you will receive a certificate, lapel pin, hot/cold tumbler, portrait, monetary award, two tickets to a UNO sporting event, and use of a designated parking space.
To nominate an employee, print and complete the nomination form and send it through campus mail to the Office of Human Resources, 205 EAB.
