OMAVS.COM – Omaha claimed a share of its second regular-season Summit League title in three seasons with a 3-1 win over Oral Roberts on Saturday evening. The Mavericks concluded the regular season with a 9-4-4 overall record and finished tied atop the conference standings with a 5-0-1 mark in Summit League play.
Omaha will be the number one seed at the Summit League Men's Soccer Championship beginning Thursday, Nov. 10, at CIBER Field in Denver, Colo. The Mavericks will face fourth-seeded Eastern Illinois Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. (CT). Omaha shared the regular-season title with No. 6 Denver. The two teams played to a draw on Oct. 29, but the Mavericks claimed the top seed by virtue of a higher goal differential in Summit play.
