Students in the Entrepreneurial Living Learning Community (ELLC), a learning community of the Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Franchising (CIEF), chat in Aksarben Village.
Silicon Prairie News showcased UNO's Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Franchising (CIEF) in the outlet's new SPN Spaces series, which covers "the region’s most inspiring startups, work spaces, incubators, accelerators and organizations."
The CIEF is part of UNO's College of Business Administration. It supports entrepreneurial education and collaboration, innovative hands-on learning experiences, as well as faculty research, conferences and mentorship. The CIEF also provides advisory services to start-ups and small business entities throughout the region.
Through a Q&A with CIEF Director Dr. Dale Eesley, Silicon Prairie News explored how the CIEF supports the the region's next generation of business founders and how hands-on classes prepare students to be successful entrepreneurs.
