Omaha – The University of Nebraska at Omaha’s (UNO) Department of Art and Art History is set to present the work of 46 graduating seniors with two exhibitions to close out the gallery’s spring semester.
Beginning Sunday, April 13, the two exhibits will be open daily until 2:30 p.m. The exhibits will conclude during UNO’s Commencement Weekend, on Saturday, May 10.
The ten students earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree will display their work in the UNO Art Gallery, which is located inside the Weber Fine Arts Building. The BFA Thesis exhibition will include painting, sculpture, graphic design, and installation by:

Concurrently, 36 students earning their Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts will show work in UNO’s Criss Library. This semester’s BASA graduates include 18 graphic design students whose have contributed work to a thesis project titled “Graphic Design” which will be displayed in the first floor central walkway of the Criss Library. Another 19 graduating seniors will show artwork in the Criss Library Osborne Family Gallery.

Opening receptions will be held concurrently on Sunday, April 13, from 3 – 5 p.m. UNO Art Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday. In addition, appointments at other times are encouraged.
The Osborne Family Gallery is located on the main floor of the Criss Library and is open any time the Library is open. Please see http://library.unomaha.edu for library hours.
