UNO Facilities will verify the space temperature complies with the university building temperature policy. We monitor and maintain temperatures across campus according to the UNO Building Temperature Policy.
Painting Guidelines
The following painting guidelines are intended for areas located within non-auxiliary buildings. Painting services provided within auxiliary buildings will be the financial responsibility of the respective department.
UNO classrooms, hallways, and student-public spaces are periodically evaluated by UNO facilities staff to determine what may require painting. UNO facilities are financially responsible for the painting expenses relating to these public areas in buildings.
Department suites, offices, and reception areas may be evaluated after approximately seven (7) years from the time of the previous painting or most recent building renovation or new construction. Departments requesting painting prior to seven (7) years will be financially responsible.
Note that departments should include all painting of the respective areas in any and all renovations. UNO facilities will not be financially responsible for the painting of department areas that were within the renovation project and not addressed during a renovation project for a period of seven (7) years after the renovation or new construction project.
If the department requests an office or reception area be touched up or painted before the seven (7) -year period of time, the department is financially responsible for painting.
UNO facilities will determine if departmental areas are in need of painting or touching up.
Storage on Campus
We do not have space for the storage of UNO campus departmental supplies or furniture. All departments are responsible for using the space assigned to them or making other arrangements on or off-campus.
