Pincurl Girls joined the Maverick Venture Fund portfolio in September 2020 when the Maverick Venture Fund invested $10,000 safe note in Pincurl Girls. Pincurl Girls was founded by Jen Landis, who wanted to use her art to sell products. All of the products that Pincurl Girls sell are around empowering girls to believe in themselves.

Appsky joined the Maverick Venture Fund’s portfolio in 2020 when the Maverick Venture fund invested $10,000 of convertible debt in Appsky. Appsky was founded in 2016 by UNO Alumni Taylor Korensky with the goal of delivering custom technology solutions that allow you and your audience to lead better, happier, and easier lives. When UNO CBA alumna Alissa McMahon launched her boutique clothing business with fellow students Kat Slump and Keegan Mahoney in 2017, it was originally a side hustle while the trio completed school. After Slump and Mahoney graduated on to other adventures, McMahon knew she wanted to hang on to their business, called Mauve, and take it to new heights.
