Currently, the Career Center is taking appointments on Tuesdays between 9am-3:30pm. You can request an appointment with the Career Center at CBA staff by logging into Handshake and selecting ‘CBA Career Advising’. Students are highly encouraged to participate in Career Fairs. Career Fairs give the students an opportunity to build meaningful networking relationships with employers and also give employers a chance to meet potential candidates.
As a service to employers and students, we coordinate and host on-campus interviews. Interviews take place in the fall and spring for a variety of full-time, part-time, and internship positions. You can find all employers that will be on campus for interviews through Handshake.
We host a Career & Internship Fair each spring and fall semesters. Career fairs feature 50+ employers who have current openings for full-time, part-time, and internship positions.
The Fall 2018 Career & Internship Fair is on Thursday, October 18th in the Mammel Hall atrium. Please keep a look out for more updates and a link to register for the fair. I have been at UNO for the past two years and am excited to join the College of Business Administration! Prior to working in higher education, I received my BSBA with a concentration in Marketing and worked in the private sector for 5 years in sales, account management and event coordination. . I am Gauri Chandra and I am the Graduate Student Worker for the Career Center at CBA. I am currently pursuing my MBA and received my BSBA with a concentration HR and General Management from UNO in May 2016. I will be assisting Laura with On Campus Interviews, Career Fairs and multiple tasks on Handshake. I will be also be taking student appointments at the CBA Career Center. I would highly encourage students to meet me for a Resume Review and would love to help them with other interview strategies. I really love working at the Career Center at UNO.
