About Jen Papproth

Jen Papproth is the Director of Accessibility Services Center, which collaborates with students, administrators, faculty, and staff to ensure access to reasonable and appropriate student disability accommodations. Jen received her BS in Psychology and her graduate degree in Counseling, both from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Jen began her career at Girls and Boys Town in 2000, serving youth with mental health diagnoses within the Treatment Group Homes. Over the years, her journey serving youth in this capacity continued until she began working for Nebraska Vocational Rehabilitation in 2006, primarily serving disabled individuals within the adult correctional facilities across the state of Nebraska to achieve competitive and integrated employment. Jen carries over 20 years of experience working with disabled individuals in varying capacities. Since her time at UNO began in 2018, she has worked to add more resources within the ASC department, as well as the creation of training opportunities to create awareness surrounding disability-related topics.

Jen has presented twice at the international AHEAD conference to promote education and guidance on supporting disabled students within higher education as well as lends guidance and assistance to her colleagues in disability support offices within the University of Nebraska system.
