OMAHA –
A juried exhibition of student artwork from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) will open at the UNO Art Gallery on Friday, Feb. 19 with a public reception.
The reception, which will run from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and include food and drink, will take place inside the Weber Fine Arts Building, which houses the UNO Art Gallery.
Guest curator Tim Barry, a ceramic artist and building manager for Omaha’s Hot Shops Art Center, selected the works for the exhibition. Each participating student is a current studio art major.
The exhibit will run through the remainder of February and all of March, closing on Thursday, March 31.
UNO Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday excluding holidays and spring break (March 20-27). Appointments at other times are also encouraged.
All events are free and open to the public. The gallery is accessible to people with disabilities.
