The UNO College of Business Administration School of Accounting (SOA) is addressing the national shortage of accountants with an innovative High School Initiative.

The new partnership will provide access to top demand job certificates.

The achievements and service of 11 UNO alumni were celebrated at the UNO Alumni Honors Brunch. Presented by the UNO Alumni Association and Omaha Athletics, the ninth annual awards event includes the induction of members of the UNO Athletic Hall of Fame.

The road that Kaylin “Katie” Plaza took to become a CBA Business Maverick has been long and winding. Plaza earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration with concentrations in marketing and international business from CBA in 2022 and is on track to graduate with her MBA with an emphasis in marketing in May 2025.

When Justin Krug graduated from UNO CBA in 2021 with his BSBA with concentrations in Marketing and Business Management, the Omaha native knew exactly where he wanted to work; at a Nebraska-based startup company.
