Flag Lowering for Alfred "Rusty" Crawford

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Wednesday, March 13, in memory of Alfred "Rusty" Crawford, who recently passed away.
Rusty held multiple roles in the Assessment Office, Institutional Research, and Records Registration. He started his career at UNO on July 1, 1978, retired on Oct. 1, 2002, and did temporary work until Oct. 31, 2003.
Rusty was preceded in death by his beloved wife Carolyn, and his brother Rick. He is survived by his son Craig Crawford of Chicago, his daughter Danielle Crawford of Iowa City, and his sister M'Liz Crawford of Astoria, Oregon.
A celebration of life is being planned, and will be held at a future date where he lived, the Heritage at Fox Run living community in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Please email rusty_memorial@icloud.com if you wish to receive details about this service.
