Flag Lowering for William Clute

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Wednesday, Feb. 21, in memory of William Clute, who recently passed away.
William started his career at UNO on Sept. 1, 1968, and retired from his role as a professor of sociology on Sept. 1, 2010.
He is survived by his four children: David (Priscilla) Clute, Dr. Daniel (Dorothea) Clute, Debbie (Scott) Petru, all of Omaha, Nebraska; Nathan (Tracy) Clute of Fort Dodge, Iowa; and ten grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Richard (Jessica) Clute, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, Feb. 23, from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak-Cutler West Center Chapel (7805 West Center Road). His funeral will follow on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 10 A.M. at the West Center Chapel.
