Flag Lowering for Glen Newkirk

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Thursday, Jan. 25, in memory of Glen Newkirk, who recently passed away.

Glen started his career at UNO on Sept. 1, 1964 and retired from his role as an English professor on March 1, 1998.

The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Glen’s loved ones during this time.
