Presence 

Presence is our online portal for student involvement. Beyond connecting you to organizations on campus, there is also a calendar for events on campus. There's also a mobile app that you can download to your phone to stay connected.

Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center 

UNO is the only American university to have a facility wholly dedicated to community engagement. This space is a great way to connect with community partners right on-campus and is also home to the Office of Civic and Social Responsibility and the Service Learning Academy.

Intramurals & Club Sports 

All students enrolled in at least one credit hour at UNO are eligible to participate on an intramural team. Sport Clubs strive to promote interest in a particular sport or activity. A club may be instructional, recreational, competitive, or any combination.

Campus Recreation strives to provide a flexible health and fitness program that is convenient for the UNO community who want a simple way to keep healthy on their own schedule.

Outdoor Adventure 

The Outdoor Venture Center offers a variety of adventure activities, rental equipment, and climbing wall for the UNO community. We challenge participants to learn, grow and venture out beyond their perceived personal limits. The OVC is your local place for everything adventure!

What jobs are available on campus?

Work Study 

Work Study is offered as part of a student's total financial aid package to assist with financing their college education. To be eligible for Work Study, a student must have completed the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Student Workers are paid by the department for which they work. To be a Student Worker, you must be enrolled in at least one hour of classes.

Graduate Assistant 

Graduate Assistantships are intended as awards to students who have demonstrated high academic performance and potential at the graduate level. Graduate Assistants, or "GAs," work 20 hours each week.

The Gender and Sexuality Resource Center 

The Gender and Sexuality  Resource Center welcomes and encourages people of all genders and sexualities to participate in the center’s offerings. The center is located in the Milo Bail Student Center, and provides collaborative support, access, resources, and training on gender and sexuality-based needs.
