Welcome to Personal Training! Personal Training is designed for members of the UNO community (faculty/staff/students/alumni) who are in search of someone to provide them with an individualized program, guidance, motivation, education, encouragement, supervision and one-on-one attention.


InBody Scan

Know Your Numbers

Curious about what’s really going on inside your body? The InBody scan is a quick, non-invasive scan that provides a detailed breakdown of your body composition, which includes metrics like body fat percentage and muscle mass. Whether you're beginning your fitness journey or refining your routine, the InBody provides valuable insight to support your goals.

Here’s what to expect:

· Fast and straightforward: just stand on the device and hold the hand electrodes

· Receive a full-page printout of your results

· Get reliable data with no assumptions based on age, sex, or body type

Use your results to:

· Track progress over time

· Identify key areas for improvement

How to schedule

  1. Fill out the personal training request form: UNO PT Request Form
  2. You will be contacted to schedule your scan.
  3. You must purchase your InBody Scan at Guest Services before your appointment.

Jump Start

Need help getting started on your fitness journey? Jump Start is a 1-on-1, 60-minute consultation with a UNO Personal Trainer designed to help build confidence and feel comfortable in the gym.

Some of the things that can be discussed during the consultation are:

  • Get motivated and explore your why.
  • Learn how to use exercise equipment properly.
  • Break down common barriers to being active.
  • Discuss your fitness goals and how to work towards them.
  • Learn strategies for making lasting lifestyle changes.

Intro Package Includes:

  • 1-hour fitness assessment, featuring:

  • Two 1-hour one-on-one sessions with your personal trainer
  • An individualized training plan tailored to your specific goals, fitness level, and preferences

After completing the Intro Package, continue your progress with flexible session options: 1, 3, 5, or 10-session packages available.

Stay motivated and have more fun reaching your goals with a partner! The Buddy Training Intro Package is designed for two people looking to take on their fitness journey—together.

  • 1-hour partner assessment, featuring:
    • InBody Body Composition Analysis
    • Movement Screen
    • Flexibility, Strength, Core & Cardio Components
  • Two 1-hour partner sessions with a certified personal trainer
  • A customized training approach that supports both individuals’ goals and fitness levels

Keep the momentum going after the Intro Package with: 3, 5, or 10-session packages available.

Scheduling Your Personal Training Sessions

  1. Both you and your buddy need to fill out the personal training request form: UNO PT Request Form
  2. A personal trainer is selected based on availability and the client's needs.
  3. Personal trainer contacts new client within 48 hours of receiving the paperwork to set up the first session.
