Welcome to Group Fitness!
Group Fitness classes are a component of Campus Recreation and Wellness. This program is for people looking for motivation, consistency, and fun workouts. Students, faculty, and staff members may participate. All fitness classes emphasize the provision of safe and effective exercise and are led by certified and well-trained fitness instructors.
All fitness and abilities are welcome to join classes.

Spring 2023 Updates
- Purchase a Class Pass gets you access to unlimited classes January 17th - May 12th.
- Group Fitness passes or single class passes must be purchased to register for classes.
- $25 for Students and Full Access Members
- $35 for Block Members, $5 for a single class pass
- Registration for each class is required. You can register up to 8 days ahead of the class date and time. Register here.
- If you would like to schedule a private class for a student organization, other group or department please email Sbrooke@unomaha.edu to schedule.
Registering for a Class
- Go to Shopwellness to purchase a semester pass
- Click Sign in and use NetID and password
- From the home screen click “Group Fitness Class Registration”
- Select a class you want to attend.
- Classes open eight (8) days in advance

Do I need a Group Fitness Pass to attend classes?
August 22-29 is a free week and anyone with a membership can go to any class. After that week everyone will be required to have a Group Fitness Pass or a single class pass.
How many classes can I participate in with a Group Fitness Pass?
With Group Fitness Pass, you can attend unlimited classes from August 22 through December 16. With a single class pass, you can attend one class.
Are Group Fitness classes for people that are already in shape?
The classes are for everyone. Our instructors are certified and ready to provide everyone with a great experience. They are trained to modify exercises and movements to make them easier or more challenging.
