Group Fitness classes are a component of Campus Recreation and Wellness.
This program is for people looking for motivation, community, and fun workouts. Students, faculty, and staff members may participate. All fitness classes emphasize the provision of safe and effective exercise and are led by certified and well-trained fitness instructors.
All fitness levels and abilities are welcome to join classes.

Summer Updates
- Group Fitness classes are FREE for all members!
- Classes for Summer 1 run from May 26 through July 2. Schedule changes may occur for the second half of the summer.
- Registration for each class is required. You can register up to 10 days ahead of the class date and time. Register here.
- If you would like to schedule a private class for a student organization, another group, or a department, please email michellegeist@nebraska.edu.
Summer 1: Group Fitness Class Schedule
Monday Classes: Yoga Sculpt at 12:00 P.M. in room 143 and Barre at 4:30 P.M. in room 143.
Tuesday Classes: TRX at 12:00 P.M. in room 124 (30-minute class) and Hatha Yoga at 4:30 P.M. in room 239.
Wednesday Classes: Cycle Express at 12:00 P.M. in room 136 (30-minute class) and F.I.T. at 5:30 P.M. in room 124.
Thursday Classes: Hatha Yoga at 12:00 P.M. in room 239 and Cycle at 4:30 P.M. in room 136.
There will be no group fitness classes on Friday through Sunday during the summer.
Registering for a Class
- Go to Shopwellness
- Click Sign in and use NetID and password
- From the home screen click “Group Fitness Class Registration”
- Select a class you want to attend.
- Classes open ten (10) days in advance
