Biography

Dr. Adidam is the Ward Y. Lindley and George T. Lindley Professor of Business Administration at UNO.Professor Adidam received his B. Commerce (Honors) from Banaras Hindu University, India; MBA from the Institute of Management Technology in Ghaziabad, India, and Ph.D. from Texas Tech University. He joined the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) in August 1996 as an Assistant Professor. He was the Executive Management Education Professor of Business Administration between 2000 and 2020. In August 2008, he became a full professor of Marketing and Management. He is also the Director of CBA's Center for International Business Initiatives.In 2024, Dr. Adidam received the University of Nebraska system-wide President's Excellence Award for Outstanding Teaching and Instructional Creativity Award. He is the second professor in the history of CBA to receive this award.Dr. Adidam is currently a Fulbright Specialist, and was a Fulbright Scholar at MCI, Austria in 2022.He received the Distinguished Alumni Award, Faculty of Commerce, Banaras Hindu University, India in 2022.In 2008, he received the prestigious University of Nebraska at Omaha's Excellence in Teaching Award, and in 2007, he received the UNO Alumni Outstanding Teaching Award. Students in the Executive MBA program have awarded him the Distinguished Executive MBA Professor Award eight times in the past fifteen years. He has taught in more than 12 business schools around the globe.In 2019, he was the first recipient of UNO's Faculty Excellence in Global Engagement Award.He has published more than 40 research papers in distinguished peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of Marketing, Journal of International Marketing, Journal of Marketing Management, Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, among others. His work was awarded the Journal of Marketing's Marketing Science Institute/H. Paul Root Award for "…most significant contribution to the advancement of the practice of marketing" for 1999.
