Robert A. Pedersen operates a certified public accounting practice in Fort Worth, Texas, His practice concentrates on tax, estate and financial planning for high wealth individuals, He has more than 29 years of experience in personal financial planning.

Prior to opening his own firm, he spent 27 years (17 as a partner) with KPMG, LLP Most recently, he led the personal financial advisory services division and was the national professional practice and quality assurance partner in the Midwest area, Pedersen has also served as the area leader for the Dallas Southwest personal financial advisory services; as partner in charge -tax operational support and quality assurance for Washington National Tax Practice, He was the tax partner in charge for Fort Worth and West Texas.

Pedersen is a frequent speaker on tax issues related to financial and retirement planning and has extensive experience representing taxpayers in dealing with the Internal Revenue Service, He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Chicago Estate Planning Council and AICPA Personal Financial Planning Executive Committee,

He received a Bachelor of Science degree (with honors) from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in June 1971 where he was a member of Beta Alpha Psi and Omicron Delta Kappa, Pedersen is a CPA and holds the PFS designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, He is a registered investment advisor representative with the Securities and Exchange Commission with his Series 65 license and holds life insurance licenses in numerous states.
