Fran Flairty Marshall is senior vice president at First National Bank of Omaha, where she heads the First Integrated Systems Department. A native Nebraskan, Marshall attended grade school and high school in Valley, before attending the University of Nebraska at Omaha to receive her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance in 1983, She received a Master in Business Administration degree with an emphasis in marketing in 1989.

Marshall has worked for First National Bank of Omaha for 23 years, and has held a variety of positions. She started as a clerk-typist in the Mortgage Loan Department, and moved up through the organization to her current position of division head and senior vice president, running the First Integrated Systems Division. This division provides data-processing services to over 50 financial institutions in 2000, and 10 states.

Other responsibilities internal to First National Bank include serving on many committees, including the Personnel, New Management Products and Technology Approval Committees. She also administers in First National's Management Trainee Program and is working to support the administration of a formal mentoring program.

Marshall's interests extend to the community where she has been deeply involved with many organizations, including the United Way of the Midlands, Junior Achievement, Ballet Omaha, and the UNO Women's Walk. Currently, she is involved with Girl Scouts and the UNO Alumni Association.
