Omaha – Nicole Partusch received a Fulbright award from the Institute of International Education on behalf of the U.S.-Spain Fulbright Commission (located in Madrid) where she will be an English Teaching Assistant in Asturias, Spain. She is a May 2017 summa cum laude graduate.

Hannah Gill received an English Teaching Assistantship from the U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. Gill will teach at the University of Adam Mickiewicz University as part of the Faculty of English in Poznan, Poland. She is a May 2015 magna cum laude graduate.

Recipients of the Fulbright Award are selected on the basis of academic and professional achievement as well as record of service and leadership potential in their respective fields. The news was released through Fulbright in May.

The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to build lasting connections between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. Since its inception in 1946, the Fulbright Program has given more than 370,000 students, scholars, teachers, artists, and scientists the opportunity to study, teach and conduct research, exchange ideas, and contribute to finding solutions to shared international concerns.

The Goodrich Scholarship Program is a nationally recognized and award-winning program of the UNO College of Public Affairs and Community Service. Since 1972, Goodrich has produced over 1,600 graduates, many of whom now occupy leadership and other productive positions in the public, non-profit, and private sectors of the economy. Goodrich offers tuition/general fees, textbook support, a special curriculum, and academic/non-academic support services. Goodrich's award-winning professors, staff, and students make Goodrich a place where students always come first. Once a Goodricher, always a Goodricher.
