The Omaha YP Summit, one of the largest young professional development events in the country, is returning for a virtual celebration of Omaha's next generation of leaders.
The Office of Graduate Studies is also proud to return as a premier sponsor for the Greater Omaha Chamber's Young Professionals (YP) Summit, which will be held virtually on March 4-5.
Ahead of the event, the YP Summit is asking for nominations of young professionals who stand out as "Change Makers" and "Rising Stars" that can be celebrated at the upcoming conference.

The YP Summit Change Maker Award is one with a long history of celebrating Mavericks.
Each year, the YP Summit honors individuals making positive, innovative, and powerful change in the Omaha community and beyond. Change Makers are thought leaders and doers who are impacting the world through social, corporate, or philanthropic change.
In recent years, UNO had been front-and-center among the YP Summit's changemakers, with faculty leaders like the College of Business Administration's Gina Ligon, Ph.D., being recognized in 2017 and Information Technology specialist Brevan Jorgensen being recognized in 2018.
UNO alumni have also been recognizd such as Bre Phalen, founder of Felis Cat Cafe and Rachel Fox, founder of Catapult Consulting Solutions.
This year, the YP Summit is asking the Change Makers themselves to reach out directly and nominate themselves. Share your story by submitting a 1 to 3-minute video application. Winners will be given a platform to share their story with young professionals and our community.
The YP Summit honors individuals with a consistently high level of professional achievement, strong leadership qualities, and commitment to the community. Rising Stars shine through social, corporate, or philanthropic efforts.
The YP Summit is currently seeking applications for our 2021 Rising Star Award. Winners will be given a platform to share their story with young professionals and our community.
Tickets for the 2021 YP Summit will be available beginning Monday, Nov. 30. Check back for more information.
