Employees who are currently enrolled in retirement plans through Fidelity or TIAA have until 3 P.M. on Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, to customize their future retirement investments ahead of changes to the University of Nebraska System's retirement plans.

The changes come following a February 2022 communication from the NU System previewing a more streamlined, lower-cost investment menu will begin to be implemented this fall.

Employees who are currently enrolled in retirement plans through Fidelity or TIAA should have received or will soon be receiving specific guidance from their retirement investment provider on steps they need to take as a result of these upcoming changes. University-wide informational sessions were offered by representatives from TIAA and Fidelity via Zoom on Aug. 16 and Aug. 17.

NOTE: Employees utilizing Fidelity looking to transfer existing funds into a BrokerageLink account MUST create their account before Friday, Oct. 7.
