Pride Month may officially take place in the month of June, but July is when the metro area truly celebrates, recognizing the lives and contributions of LGBTQIA2S+ communities through the Heartland Pride Festival and the Heartland Pride Parade.
On Saturday, July 16, UNO's Gender and Sexuality Resource Center is inviting members of the UNO community to participate in the Heartland Pride Parade taking place in the Old Market. This year's theme is "Open Hearts. Open Minds."
Interested in walking in the parade? Take a few minutes to fill out a short registration form. You will be provided with additional information closer to the date.
