Affiliate Provider Programs

Affiliate providers are independent organizations that offer and facilitate study abroad programs. They are able to provide additional support throughout the application process and offer on-site services and activities that help students make the transition to their new country and culture.

The Facts

Who will I be paying for my program? All program costs except for the Education Abroad Admin Cost will be paid directly to the affiliate provider.

Can I use my UNO tuition scholarships to pay for my program? You cannot use UNO tuition scholarships to pay for affiliate provider programs, but you can apply for financial aid. As a UNO student you may also receive special discounts or scholarships from our affiliate providers. To learn more, look at our affiliate provider discount list.

Is an affiliate provider program right for me?

Affiliate programs are good for students who:

  • Want an additional level of support when they study abroad

  • Feel more comfortable knowing they will meet a group of fellow study abroad students as soon as they arrive at their destination

  • Don’t have UNO tuition scholarships or are willing to put them on hold until they return

  • Are looking to study in a country where exchange isn’t offered or is extremely competitive
