Scholarships are an excellent way to help defray the cost of a study abroad program.

UNO Scholarships

UNO tuition scholarships can be used to help defray the cost of Exchange and Faculty-Led programs. Check with your scholarship coordinator to confirm that your funds can be applied to your specific program.

UNO Education Abroad Scholarships

Occasionally the Education Abroad Office has scholarship funding available. Please contact the Education Abroad Office or log into Via-TRM for current scholarship offerings.

Typical term offerings are:

Barbara and Herbert Egerer Award, non-location/major-specific- help us grow this scholarship fund!
Mal & Millie Hansen Award, for international studies majors
Karly Foland Scholarships, for study abroad in a non-Western country

See our 2021-2022 scholarship recipients on the Scholarship Spotlight page!

The Donald Greer Study Abroad Memorial Scholarship of $1000 is conferred to a UNO undergraduate or graduate student engaging in a study abroad program.
