Plan ahead. We require three days advance notice of a department’s need to dispose of equipment.
How to Submit Property
- Check item(s) for “4000 series” stickers. A 4000 series sticker can be found on any equipment initially purchased for $5,000 or more. If an inventory tag is found, contact the appropriate person in your office for the proper disposal and signatures required for disposal of this equipment.
- Notify Surplus Property prior to disposing any Capital Investment property.
- A request for pick up form must be filled out and submitted for all surplus property. Property will not be considered for retrieval unless a form has been submitted. Property left unattended or not properly submitted for removal will not be considered surplus property and may be returned to or put into the nearest office. Fill out a request for pickup form.
- Submit your completed form to Surplus Property via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or via campus mail to EAB, Room 106.
