Business and Finance

The vision of the Business and Finance team at the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) is "Making UNO better...every day."

Our mission is to provide the highest quality services in support of UNO's mission through the thoughtful stewardship of financial, infrastructure, and human resources.

Business and Finance at UNO provides diverse support services through several divisions, each of which can be accessed below.

Accounting Services

This division includes Accounts Payable, Business Systems Technology, Cashiering, Controller's Office, Grants Accounting, and Procurement.

Auxiliary Services

Auxiliary Services includes The Maverick Store, Food Services and Catering, and MavCARD Services located in the Milo Bail Student Center, and the Child Care Center and Thompson Alumni Center. All of these services are located on the Dodge Campus.

Budget Office

The Budget Office provides guidance and assists with the development of budget timelines, maintenance, and support, as well as other university responsibilities.

UNO Facilities Management and Planning

The Facilities Management and Planning staff develops, operates, and maintains the physical environment that supports the UNO community.

Mail Services

Mail Services is responsible for shipping and receiving, surplus property, and the processing and consultation for all incoming and outgoing mail including U.S. mail and campus mail.

Office of Risk Management

The Office of Risk Management is an insurance and loss-control/prevention discipline that collaborates with UNO departments to minimize adverse effects of loss upon the UNO's human, physical and financial assets.

Parking Services

Parking and Transit Services provides guidance and assistance on where to park on campus, how to purchase a virtual permit, and sustainable transportation options.

Police and Public Safety Department

Police and Public Safety Department's responsibilities includes protecting life and property, providing building and ground patrol, investigating criminal offenses, controlling the University Access System, and providing emergency first aid response for on-campus incidents.
