The Staff Advisory Council (SAC) is seeking nominations for outstanding staff members to join the council in the next academic year. It is a wonderful professional development opportunity and a way to get connected to campus and other colleagues you may not always see.
About the Nomination Process
SAC will need at least 11 new members to join our team this year. Elected members will serve a three-year term (2023-2026). Please submit your nomination(s) by April 1, 2023. You may nominate another employee or yourself (or both). Please fill out one form per nomination.

Chancellor Li strongly encourages the support of supervisors in allowing their employees the time off to participate in the important mission of SAC.

- April 1, 2023: SAC nomination deadline
- April 19 – May 12, 2023: SAC Election voting

About the Staff Advisory Council (SAC)
SAC was established at UNO in March 1973 with the mission to promote and facilitate communication between all staff employees of UNO and the Chancellor. SAC advocates, informs, and engages with senior leadership on behalf of the UNO staff. SAC studies policies, procedures, and other issues of concern to staff and make recommendations to the chancellor and leadership team.
