No matter your reason and no matter your need, the UNO campus community is here to support you with financial support and access to resources that can help with the struggles you may be facing, particularly this time of year.
Students
UNO Student Hardship Fund
The UNO Student Hardship Fund supports students at UNO who are facing sudden financial hardship due to crisis situations, including those caused by COVID-19. Contact Dean of Students Cathy Pettid for additional details at cpettid@unomaha.edu.

UNO Housing Support Fund
Through the generosity of a private donor, limited funds are available to assist students who, due to unexpected or exceptional circumstances, need housing assistance to continue their education.

Maverick Food Pantry
As our University community continues to navigate the challenges presented by coronavirus (COVID-19), the Maverick Food Pantry remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting the dietary and personal hygiene needs of students, faculty, and staff at UNO and UNMC.
Campus community members can request a care package or connect to other community resources through the Maverick Food Pantry.
University of Nebraska Emergency Assistance Fund
This fund enables the university to help currently enrolled students and current university employees who face financial hardship resulting from emergency or crisis situations such as COVID-19.

Employees
UNO Emergency Loan Fund
This fund is available only to UNO employees and is a 0% interest loan to be paid back through payroll deductions over the course of one year or less. Employees can apply for this assistance using this form.
Crisis Leave Pool
University employees who are at .5 FTE or greater and normally accrue vacation leave are eligible to apply for additional hours of leave that have been donated by other employees into the university's crisis leave pool. Employees can receive up to the limit of the number of days they would normally accrue in a calendar year but no more than 24 work days (192 hours).
Employees looking to donate to the program can do so through this form. The maximum hours donated cannot exceed five working days (40 hours) in a calendar year.
