About National Student Employment Week
Each year, the National Student Employment Association (NSEA) recognizes the second full week of April as National Student Employment Week (NSEW). This year, NSEW will take place on April 10-16.
NSEW is a week of celebration, appreciation, and recognition for the thousands of university and college student employees across the nation, who are engaged in the critical work that helps keep our colleges, divisions, and departments operating.
The week has three main purposes:
-
Build awareness of on campus student employment opportunities and the importance they play on our campus.
-
Appreciate and recognize our current student employees and their contributions to the UNO community.
-
Thank on campus employers for their part in hiring, training, onboarding, and supporting students in these critical roles for the university.
For more information on National Student Employment Week, and how you can celebrate student employees, please visit Maverick Student Employment’s NSEW and Recognition website.
