Flags Remain Lowered to Honor Victims of Baton Rouge Attack

Governor Pete Ricketts announced today, July 19, 2016, in accordance with a proclamation from President Barack Obama, that all U.S. and Nebraska flags are to remain at half-staff as a mark of respect for the victims of the attack in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Flags will be lowered until sunset July 22, 2016.
Governor Ricketts issued the following statement about the attack:
“Susanne and I are deeply saddened by the shootings in Baton Rouge. Nebraskans Support Blue and are praying for the victims' families.”
