Dial 402.554.2911 and Public Safety will then sound the general alarm.

Give your name, location, and extent of the fire.

Spread the word if possible. Evacuate the building.

If possible close all doors behind you.

DO NOT USE ELEVATORS
- Individuals who are in wheelchairs should immediately go to the designated stair towers where emergency personnel will assist them.
Self Help Measures

If you are caught in smoke, drop to your hands and knees and crawl below the smoke level to the safest exit.

If you are trapped in a room, place cloth, or material under the door to keep smoke from entering.

Know the location of the fire extinguisher and how to use it.

Learn at least two escape routes from your location.

Assemble at the rally point for the building. Avoid blocking drives that may be used by emergency personnel.
